Battling Defeat

BATTLING DEFEAT

Ever had those days when you feel as if nothing is working out in your life, and all you are doing is failing. with every step you try to take towards success, towards something you feel you can achieve,  you just can't reach it? with all your efforts in, and no result. this can be pretty devastating, no?
giving up on the hard work and always finding an easy way out is not the secret to success.
success is sweat. hard work and determination. you need to fight day and night. ignoring the negativities of life and letting the positive comments boost you.
why is this happening? how can you battle defeat?
this is how:

STEP 1: YOGA OR STRETCHING:
firstly, just close your eyes, either sit back or lay down, and relax. forget about all the work that needs to be done for the moment and take in deep big breaths. do some simple basic yoga posses. yoga reduces stress and anxiety and helps in proper breathing and blood flow. or, simply try to put on a smile and stretch wherever you're working.

STEP 2: COLD GLASS OF WATER WITH FRESH LEMON

cold water excites your body and gives it a sudden rush. adding lemon to it gives special benefits such as cleansing your body by reducing the toxins in the blood. lemon water helps to reduce stress and freshens you up in no time.

STEP 3: GIVE AN HOUR TO YOURSELF:

go out for a walk, socialize, sit by the beach, swim in the pool, go out for shopping or do what you love most. do whatever, but get out of the building and dedicate that one hour to yourself. get the natural breeze. reading also helps some people for stress reduction but it is better advised to see and feel the nature. a simple massage has also proven to reduce stress.

STEP 4: BURN-OUT:
it is very important to know that days like these come when nothing seems to be working out and you feel the pressure. you will feel like giving up and crying. this stage is called the burn-out point. it happens when you take too much load on yourself all at once without breaks. in result, you waste an entire day, truing to calm yourself down. it is advised by psychologists that you maintain a daily routine including exercise, snacks and breaks. take a break after every two hours and reward yourself with a  healthy snack such as fresh fruits. keeping this up will not only reduce the stress and anxiety level but will also make your days effective and you will achieve more.

The Benefits of Struggling

As we grow older, we consider getting popular in school rather than focussing on studies. Nerds become the joke of the school and all those who misbehave get all the attention and fame by other students. Smoking and drinking is considered “cool” and students brag about it in school just to show that they are rich and old enough to do all those things and consider it as a source of fame. Being old means maturing. If these kids are going to smoke and drink and then brag about it or post pictures on social media, then this sort of behaviour does not show maturity. The saddest thing is that either the parents are unaware of these things due to lack of knowledge or are encouraging their kids to do so, feeling as if the kids are mature enough (when they are not) or are either saying that they have no control over their kids, they do as they wish. In Pakistan, boys of age ten have been spotted riding bikes with their father sitting behind them. They take their young sons to work with...

Signs You May be Boring Others

Signs You May be Boring Others By Muniza Imran Everyone likes to ramble on and on about their day or even worse, life! Well you may find a really good listener but most people will just be trying to escape. No one likes a complaining granny. So if you want to ramble—if it makes you feel any better, do it alone in an empty room or in front of a mirror in your bathroom. Don't bore the poor innocent human nature! Some people just can't tell when they start to ramble and they go on and on without realizing it! That can be an inescapable trap for the communication partner. You don't want anyone to feel that way about you, do you? Certainly not me. So there are some signs that show your listener is getting bored. You should seriously consider these signs and look for them during a rapport with your communicator. 1. SHIFTING WEIGHT: Notice that a bored listener will start to shift his weight and will also lean on nearby objects such as a chair or a counter....
